Summer So Far....

So basically my summer has been uberbombtastic so far!! I have been having so much fun! I went to Caswell for a week, hung out with friends, and just plain out relaxed. My summer is gonna be great! In the middle of August, I am moving to Florida. I am sooooo extremely nervous. But God will guide me in every way and everything will be okay :) Is everyone else's summer been pretty great?! I have hung out with my friend Luke Henry a lot over the summer. He always knows how to make me laugh. He is a really good friend.

Just a random post :)

So today I realized that I am moving in a month and a half!! I am so nervous. I am also excited, scared, sad, happy, ecstatic, anxious. I feel like I wanna move but then I don't in a way. Anyone know how that feels?? I am going to college in florida! That is 600 miles away from where I live!! That is crazy.

<-----This is a picture of the college that I am gonna be attending in the fall. I am super pumped! I am gonna love it. I am gonna be thinking about a lot of stuff as I transition to college life. I am gonna definitely gonna need the support of my friends.

<----This girl on the right is absolutely freaking amazing! I love her to death. I miss her like crazy right now though. She is on a mission trip to Honduras for the entire summer. The things she does really inspires me to do things. She has gone on another mission trip before. She went to Costa Rica last summer. She is amazing and she is gonna do great things in her future! Love you Brittany!
Over and out!!

Caswell!!!

So I got back from Camp Caswell last Saturday and man it made me tired! I don't think I have cried that much ever in my entire life. God is great and that whole week made me realize a whole lot of stuff. One of my new favorite songs is Healing is in His hands. The main chorus is "How high, how wide, no matter where I am, healing is in Your hands, how deep, how strong, now by Your grace I stand, healing is in Your hands." So people, no matter what you are going through, God is doing it for a reason. He would not put you in a situation where you are not capable of handling it. He will not set you up for failure. He is not that kind of person. He does everything because He loves you. The picture above is of me and one of my really good friends Jessie Metty. She is absolutely amazing. I love her to death. We also had an amazing guest speaker at Camp Caswell. He is a former NFL player. He played for the Indianapolis Colts in the 1990's. His name is Derwin Gray. He is an amazing preacher. His career ended 6 years after starting to play football. He permanently hurt his knee and was no longer able to play so he became a preacher and an author. One of the most in-depth things he said was, "Sin will keep you longer than you want to stay, and cost you more than you want to pay." This statement is so true! This guy is amazing. The verse that lead us through the week was Colossians 2:6-7. This verse says, "As ye have therefore recieved Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him: rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving." This verse is basically saying that you should stay strong in your faith and stand strong because you have recieved Christ Jesus the Lord. Camp Caswell is definitely one of the most amazing places I have ever been. That's all for now! Over and Out!! :)

Graduation!

So I have finally graduated!! It feels so good! My four years of high school went by so fast and I can't believe it. I was really looking forward to seeing my dad today. I miss him so much all the time because my parents are divorced and he lives in Alabama. He is my hero and I love him with all my heart. The man that I am hugging in my picture is my dad. Isn't he good looking? As soon as he saw me, he walked up to me and gave me a hug and he started crying when he hugged me. It means so much to him that I have graduated. He drove 11 HOURS just to see me graduate. It means a lot to me that he came and I am glad that high school is over. I am not going to cry because it's over, I am going to smile because it happened. I am looking forward to starting a new chapter in the book of my life. I am now a college girl! GO PENSACOLA EAGLES!!!! (that is my college's mascot) I am really going to miss my friends. If they are true friends, they will stay in contact with me and I will definitely stay in contact with them. I am excited to see where God leads me :) "When everything falls apart, your arms hold me together, when everything falls apart, you're the only hope for this heart, when everything falls apart and my strength is gone, I find you mighty and strong, you keep holding on, you keep holding on..." This is from one of my favorite songs in the entire world. This is from When Everything Falls Apart by the band Fee. Check out their video on youtube.com. Their words are so captivating and inspiring. That's all for now! Over and out!

Ok, So I totally had an awesome day today!! I went on my friends boat and we went to the lake and went tubing and MAN am i sore!!! I got some major sunburn too. Even though I put on a bunch of sunscreen. My best friend turned 18 today!! He has been my best friend for a little over a year and he is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

I am graduating today too! It seems like yesterday I was a freshmen walking in to my first day of high school. It is so weird how time flies by. My four years of high school went by so fast. I am going off to a Christian college next semester and I am super pumped! I am so excited to see where God leads me in life. I hope to find my perfect guy while there. I am so happy that I made it this far in life. I have only been saved for a little over a year and it was the best decision I have ever made. I am always much happier and I am always thinking positive. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me

As A Chapter Ends, A New One Begins...

So I am graduating this Friday. I can't believe how fast my four years of high school went by. For all the upcoming freshmens, enjoy your high school years while you can! Don't fill it up with a bunch of drama and all that stupid stuff. Have fun! It feels like yesterday that I was walking in to my high school on my first day of school being a freshmen. You feel so mature going into high school. I must admit that some of the classes I took were hard but I trusted God and I passed them with flying colors! :D I am going to leave high school with a satisfied heart. I have great friends that love me with all their hearts. My best friends are Makay (check out her blog!), Brittany, and Weston. Weston is obviously the boy in this pic. Brittany is the blonde girl in front of the flowers. Makay is the one one the right. They have been there for me through thick and thin and I love them! Well, I am off to bed. I have graduation rehearsal tomorrow! Wish me luck! :)
